Hidesign’s core competency includes leather bags, luggage and accessories including wallets, card holders, portfolios and travel kits. Recently the brand has continued its evolution into a lifestyle brand and now offers shoes, sunglasses, pens and stationery in its 80 exclusive Hidesign branded retail stores.
Hidesign is a uniquely vertically integrated company. We have our own tannery, buckle factory and manufacturing units. This control over manufacturing at each step allows us to produce a product of the highest quality standards at fair value. It also gives the brand the flexibility to experiment and constantly improve on its original goals of producing an ecologically friendly leather product.
In our tanneries, we apply our research into exotic vegetable extracts to ensure the highest quality vegetable tanned leathers. Our leathers are hand-cut, our buckles are forged not from electroplated steel or zinc but from sand-cast solid brass. Our manufacturing is long and time consuming, but it results in a long lasting and unique looking product with a real story to each and every piece.
